“The reason I became a nurse is I want to be part of a change in someone's life, and I would never have thought that social media would give me this power and influence,” he told CTV News. “For me, I still see this as nursing. nursing you... through your phone while you're swiping, you're laughing, you're forgetting your stress.”
Showcasing authentic experiences of nurses — dancing, crying, laughing, and all at once, it’s a MOOD! “It's like, me in the bathroom at work having a mental breakdown, hyping myself up because of what we do, 'Okay, we keep going, we got this,” he said.
To the nurses out there, you got this! In the meantime, Nurse John is out here holding special shows to have you rolling in joy and laughter. On stage, you’ll see the REAL deal — his impersonations, stories, patient scenarios, dancing, and more of his hilarious antics.
“I have never imagined in my life that I would one day be on stage, doing stand-up and making my besties laugh, cry, and feel seen! It is so surreal but it's here and I am excited,” Dela Cruz said in a statement. “I have worked so hard to create the comedy experience of a lifetime and I can't wait to share it with everyone.
