San Diego Civic Theatre
The San Diego Civic Theatre is getting ready to host the most Mexican, Spain-born singer we've seen since Rocío Dúrcal. Natalia Jiménez is back on tour, and she's making her regular stop in San Diego on Sunday, December 7th. If you're looking for a night of pop and Mexican regional music, this show is just what the doctor ordered.
Over the last few years, Natalia Jimenez has leaned heavily into the Mexican Regional genre. That's been evident in her latest release, De Jimenez a Jimenez, where she sings songs from the legendary Jose Alfredo Jimenez. That doesn't mean that she's completely forgotten about her rock/pop roots. The combination makes for not only an incredible musical journey, but the visuals that you get with the full mariachi on stage always strike a nerve with Mexicans north of the border.

This La Jimenez tour promises to be yet another attempt from the former La Quinta Estacion leading lady to mix her typical pop songs with mariachi beats. She's been active on these US tours as of late, taking the road virtually every year. This stop in San Diego is a must when she crosses the border. It's a town where the Mexican roots run deep, and Jimenez has found plenty of loyal fans ready to be a part of her live experiences.
