Hola, San Diego! Even though this artist we are going to have at The Civic Center this December has a song titled Sola Con Mi Soledad, we absolutely want you to come to her tour with all your friends and your special someone. And, even though she’s the iron lady, we want y’all to bring all the flowers for her to this show, too! It’s December and Christmas will be here in no time, so singing Navidad Sin Ti will fit right into the concert too - because Marisela is going on tour!
Dale! The ever changing artist and Mexican superstar, Marisela, is going on tour this year for select shows all across The States and Mexico - and we want you to be there! On Thursday December 4th, make sure to catch the iron idol right here at the San Diego Civic Center for a show sure to be unforgettable and so iconic.
Tickets are on sale right now and starting at $114 for the show. And with no openers scheduled as of right now - it’ll just be all about us, Marisela, and the music. We can’t wait to see you there, panitas!
All of us here at The San Diego Civic Center are so excited to welcome Marisela to the stage for a special night as she takes on North America for her Empoderada Tour, which will see the Mexican superstar hit six dates across the continent with just her and her entourage. Stopping in places like Mexico City, El Paso, Chicago, and rounding up the tour right here in San Diego - we get the opportunity to see Marisela honed and refined - and ready to give us her all before she goes home for the holidays.
The Empoderada Tour is Marisela’s final step of evolution into the artist she always wanted to be. Taking tips from the Mexican Female greats before her, "empoderada" (which means “empowered” in english) was announced with the release of her song Sola, highlighting her resilience, her chameleon-like charisma, and her ever lasting perseverance, too. After a few hard years and now returning to Mexico as a different person, Marisela is ready to show the world that she is back - and ready to take center stage once again.
In a recent interview, she said "I'm doing more of what I want to do, more than happy because I'm in Mexico again, it's extremely important for me to return. When my mother died, of course I remember her and I always sing songs remembering her. I'm going to dedicate another song to her, which is the collaboration of Ramón Ayala and produced by Carlos Espinoza. When I lost my mother, I dedicated myself to my music, to keeping myself busy, to being with my audience, to pass all the feelings you feel when you lose a mother,”. Marisela has been diving deeper into her ethos and it’s apparent in her new Sola video - she’s a new person for us to experience, so there’s no telling what new material she may play for us - or her new takes on old ballads from different decades in her career. All we know is - you gotta make sure to be here for it.
